Very beautiful glazed ceramic vase from the Accolay workshops in Burgundy. This piece features an elegant silhouette with a generously rounded body, topped with a wide, slightly flared cylindrical neck. Its harmonious lines and balanced proportions give it a beautiful decorative presence. Its remarkable turquoise glazing offers deep shades of azure blue, petroleum blue, and aquamarine green. Stunning vertical drips, combined with subtle layering and crystallization effects, create a particularly bright and lively decor. The slight horizontal lines from the turning add rhythm to the composition. The Accolay pottery was established in Burgundy in 1944, driven by four former students of Alexandre Kostanda. Their production saw significant growth in the 1950s and 1960s, distinguished by great creative freedom, original shapes, and bold explorations of glazes. The creations from Accolay now hold a recognized place in the history of 20th-century French ceramics. A beautiful collectible piece, representative of the inventiveness of the Accolay workshops, particularly decorative due to the intensity of its colors and the richness of its glazing. Dimensions: Height: 20 cm. Diameter: 16 cm. Condition: perfect condition.
