4 Chairs by Baumann, produced by Pierre Guariche, restored (unicorn)

A magnificent set of four restored Licorne chairs by Pierre Guariche for Baumann, 1960. Restoration: The chairs were completely stripped, removing the original dark varnish and dark oak stain. They were sanded with various grits until finished. After cleaning, a light oak stain was applied, followed by several coats of matte marine varnish. The faux leather is new and chocolate brown, and the padding is comfortable and of good quality. The chairs are stable, and the solid beechwood frame is well-preserved and free of wormholes. Dimensions: 42 cm wide. 46 cm deep. 78 cm high. 46 cm seat height. More photos or information available upon request.
