Antique blue wooden dog gates

A pair of stunning dog gates from rajasthan, in orginal and solid condition, Crafted from tropical hardwood and iron, they come with original paint intact. These gates would have graced the outside of a street door and i've included a photo of a typical pair in situ, to illustrate this. They are topped with two dimensional stylised finials. The metalwork too, is original and there is a lovely iron central catch. They would make a wonderful decorative statement, wall mounted and if desired could continue to be functional, since they also have their original hinges attached. Pieces of this quality and age, are becoming increasingly rare to find. Dimensions: height 121cm width each 49cm combined 98cm depth 3.5cm.
