A pair of old African decorative sculptures. Hand-carved. Ivorian art representing the Baoulé or Yohouré people, with an anthropomorphic figure above their heads, symbolising an ancestor or a protective spirit. Brought back by my grandparents who lived in Africa for work in the 1950s. Approx. 8.5cm thick. Approx. 13cm wide. 44cm high.
