First world war shell casing vase engraved and carved with its floral motif. From trench craftsmanship, also called "art of the hairy" or "art of the trenches". They were made by the poilus during waits in the trenches to furnish the weather. In very good condition. Height: 23 cm. Diameter: 8 cm.
