Scandinavian extension teak stretch table in butterfly ephardt by Meredew circa 60's

Expandable dining table with extension/integrated extension butterfly, Scandinavian style, vintage, mid-century, teak and veneer-covered top, produced by Meredew in the 1960s. The width of the table has a beautiful design with curved edges, rather than straight edges. Closed, this table is 122 cm wide to comfortably accommodate 4 people. Open, it has a width of 168 cm, to comfortably seat 6-8 people. The table is in very good original condition, with traces of use, consistent for its age. On 2 angles, there is a very small lack of veneer not very visible. Slight traces of use and time on top of table and feet (see photos). The table is solid, stable and robust. The butterfly extension and hinges work perfectly. A signature from the manufacturer's cabinetmaker is present (see photos).
