Superb square catchall in Lucite (high-quality solid Plexiglas) and brass, in the purest style of Maison Roméo (Claude Dalle) from the 1970s. This very elegant decorative object stands out for its refined finish: a central closure/hinge crafted from brass rods and silver rings, creating a beautiful geometric contrast with the transparency of the solid Lucite block. Design & Style: Hollywood Regency, Glamour 1970s, Maison Roméo. Usage: Catchall, table ashtray (there may have been a central dish that could fit at the time). Period: Circa 1970. Materials: Lucite/Plexiglas, gilded brass, and silver metallic details. Condition: good vintage condition. Some light micro-scratches from use on the Plexiglas, quite normal for a piece of this era and providing an authentic patina. It's up to you whether to keep it as is or choose to polish it. It retains a rare presence and elegance. Very fast and careful shipping 🎁.
