This English mahogany revolving bookcase is a refined piece, combining decorative elegance and ingenuity. It rests on a pivoting base that allows easy access to the books arranged on each of its sides, while maintaining a compact footprint. The top shelf is moulded, and the mahogany structure, consisting of three levels, features a warm patina. The openwork uprights, each made of four slats, typical of English revolving bookcases, give the piece a beautiful visual lightness. The various storage levels offer generous capacity to accommodate bound books, novels, paperbacks, or decorative objects. The piece rests on four castors. The whole stands out with a balanced silhouette, characteristic of the late Victorian style, which fits well in both a classic interior and a contemporary decor seeking a statement piece. Period: early 20th century. Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop. Waxed finish. 588V.
