1960s Sofa “2218” by Borge Mogensen for Fredericia, Denmark

A beautiful 3-seater sofa designed by Borge Mogensen, manufactured by Fredericia in Denmark around 1960. This sofa features a beautiful quality teak wooden base. It has black / grey cushions on the seats and backs, nicely contrasting to the light frame and giving the piece a modern and inviting appeal. The cushions are soft and comfortable, combined with the slightly tilted backrest this all adds nicely to the seating comfort. A lovely find of Scandinavian design that will fit nicely in many different kinds of decors! labeled underneath the frame as shown in photos. This sofa remains in very good vintage condition with new upholstery and only minor signs of wear to the frame consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
