Cutting knife or cake server in silver-plated metal from the Christofle house, Marly model, reference no. 59. The Marly model is one of the great classics of Christofle silverware. Its richly chiselled decoration, inspired by the Louis XV style and the rococo repertoire of the 18th century, is characterised by motifs of shells, foliage, and asymmetrical scrolls. An iconic model, produced without interruption since the 20th century and highly sought after for the composition or complement of cutlery sets. Length 25.5 cm. Item in strictly new condition, never used. The silver plating is intact, with no wear, and presented particularly carefully. Production from the 1980s. Made in France.
