Tati table lamp by Kartell

With its screen-like diffuser, ferruccio laviani's new lamp displays a contemporary and very elegant formal sobriety. Tati is characterized by rigorous geometric lines and an alternation of transparency and opacity that offers a subtle play of light. The square foot of transparent polycarbonate contains a smaller foot of chrome steel (which serves as a weight). The base is topped by a large rectangular diffuser made of transparent polycarbonate. Inside the diffuser is a removable pleated fabric blind that serves as a backdrop for the screen and filters the light. The screen diffuser exploits the light source over its entire surface. The light, filtered through the walls, is diffuse and soft, it spreads to the foot of the lamp.
