Set of six artisanal stoneware plates, probably from the second half of the 20th century. Slightly hollow round shape, thick and irregular rim, glossy glaze in shades of beige, cream, and honey brown. The underside is mostly left raw, revealing the pink to brown colour of the clay and traces of production. The differences in hue, glaze, and shape from one plate to another testify to artisanal production and give the whole a beautiful texture. This tableware, with its simple shapes and natural glazes, is part of the revival of utilitarian ceramics that developed from the 1960s-1970s, with a renewed interest in stoneware, turning, and deliberately uneven surfaces. Their raw and rustic appearance, enhanced by the thick edges and visible clay, gives them an almost brutalist aesthetic that works particularly well today with natural linens, raw wood, metal cutlery, or more minimal tableware. Dimensions: height 3 cm; diameter 20 cm. Total weight: 2 kg. Generally in good condition, with variations in shape, hue, and glaze related to their artisanal production.
