Geometric side tables, France, 1970s

Pair of French side tables from the 1970s, featuring an original design characterized by geometric shapes and modularity. Each table has an angular and asymmetrical top, allowing for multiple arrangements. The dark-stained wooden structures elegantly contrast with the light laminate tops, giving the tables a graphic and architectural look. The square, slender legs and visible joints emphasize the simplicity of the construction, while the beveled edges create a subtle impression of movement. Designed to be used alone or together, these tables can be placed side by side to form a large surface, positioned at an angle, or separated within a space. Their understated proportions and modularity make them particularly versatile as side tables, guéridons, or compact consoles. The pair is in good original condition, with normal signs of wear for their age, including slight wear on the edges and minor usage marks on the tops. These details contribute to their authenticity. Sold as a set of two.
