Ikea vintage Kim Samson curved beech wood deck chair

Vintage beech deckchair - curved wood - by the publisher Ikea, designed by Kim Samson. We love its very elegant design, reminiscent of Alvar Aalto's curves. The seat rests on a curved wooden base and features three seating levels, thanks to a metal hook system. The seat is covered with very robust woven strips. A cushion made with vintage linen has been created by my upholsterer to ensure optimal comfort.
