Verceram empty pocket cup model 4567

This charming bowl will find its place in any room in the house, a storage tray in an entryway, a makeup bowl in a bathroom, a jewelry bowl in the bedroom or a spoon rest in a kitchen! It will bring a sunny vintage touch with its color ranging from straw yellow to caramel, which highlights the raised streaks reminiscent of the grain of the wood. The stamp on the back tells us that it is a production of the verceram house, a french brand which created high quality ceramics, some intended for the liner "france", from 1930 to 1971. Its shape, which recalls that of a shell, is also interesting, refined but functional: in fact, one side has an upward curvature which greatly facilitates handling: perhaps they were small cheese plates or for dessert In addition, it makes this cup relatively rare, because if we still find some with a more conventional shape, almost square, those with this particular shape are very difficult to find today. This model dates from between 1930 and 1955. This cup also has its model number 4567 below as well as the number 38 (which according to some sources indicates that the object is numbered and limited to 99 copies, but I was unable to check it and it doesn't seem likely to me, but you never know!) and a number 4 written by hand in the enamelling. This cup is in very good condition, no cracks, no chips, just small marks and scratches, almost invisible, in the bottom of the cup (you can only see them by tilting the cup with a very precise angle of bright light. It measures approximately 20 cm by 18 cm with a height of 4 cm.
