A bit of history Terre de fer is a ceramic halfway between earthenware and porcelain. Appearing in france around 1770, it saw its heyday around 1900 thanks to industrial advances. It is recognizable by its patterns, often floral and most of the time monochrome, but especially by the acronym affixed to its back mentioning these words… “terre de fer”. This flat plate, all softness with its pink floral crown decoration, will easily join your kitchen or enhance a shabby chic decor. Diameter 22.5 cm and height 2 cm.
