Very beautiful girl's clock from the lyonnaise brand charvet delorme, from around the 1960s. The font of the numbers is quite classic, but on the other hand, the magnificent detail of this piece is its hands: the hour hands are significantly larger than the minute hands for optimal readability, they are both grooved, and the minute has a counterweight riveted, it's really a beautiful, quality construction. These hands are often present on charvet delorme, I have seen other models with the same ones. Clocks of this brand worked with the same characteristics as brillié clocks, charvet manufactured master clocks, under brillié license, sometimes adding modules to the basic mechanism, such as time signaling, etc. At the time, before the advent of computers, large institutions and companies needed to coordinate time. This is how time distribution systems were born: a regulator kept the time, with great precision, and as many receiver clocks (or “daughter”, “slave”) clocks as necessary were connected to it.
