A vintage teapot from the 1990s in the style of majolica, depicting a turtle sitting on the lid of the pot with an underwater landscape underneath including green plants and a brown riverbed. Made by rc creations, a division of the firm oriental accent, inc. That creates handmade pottery in the tradition of shiwan ware, using glazing techniques inherited from the tang dynasty (618-906 ad). Oriental accent, inc. On the base it has the hand-written markings "a30" and "b8" pressed into the clay. Underneath that "42" is written in black on top of the clay. This teapot is in great condition. It does have some minor chips and scratches here and there, as can be viewed on the photos.
