Magnificent armchair model #317 designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen in the 1950s-60s and produced by Søborg Møbelfabrik in Denmark. This is a beautiful example of high-end Danish Mid-Century furniture, recognisable by its elegant and timeless lines, the quality of its materials, and the attention to detail. Great attention to detail: tapered armrests, curved half-moon backrest, tapered legs, and angled stretchers. The frame and backrest are made of solid teak, and the seat has been expertly redone in woven Danish cord. In good vintage condition. Signs of wear consistent with the age of the armchair.
