Vintage 1960s-1970s fish barbotine pocket vases

Glazed ceramic barbotine depicting a stylised fish resting on two large leaves forming two bowls. Originally designed as a table salt and pepper shaker, it now naturally finds a second life as a catch-all for jewellery, keys, or small everyday items. Without any brand or provenance indication, characteristic of productions from the 1960s-1970s. The naive modelling of the fish, combined with the two ribbed leaves, gives it a unique personality and a true sculptural presence. In beautiful vintage condition, with a lovely shine, some very light signs of use and discreet small chips (see photos). Length 14 cm, height 8 cm. Salt and pepper shaker or catch-all, you choose!.
