This model also has the unique feature of being finished on the back, meaning it is also made of Brazilian rosewood on the back of the piece, which is extremely rare on most furniture and was an option on this particular model (this secretary being available in standard or high-end finishes like this one). This allows, for example, for it to be placed in the middle of a room instead of against a wall.
