Vintage Art Deco Villeroy & Boch plates

A beautiful set of seven white earthenware plates decorated with large, stylized burgundy flowers encircled by a central border. The hand-painted motifs are typical of the geometric floral style of the 1930s. Octagonal shape with softened edges, 24 cm in diameter. Green Villeroy & Boch – Mettlach stamp on the reverse, model number 8148. Very good overall condition: no chips or cracks, two plates with a more pronounced patina due to age.
