Elegant bar service consisting of a carafe and six matching glasses, made of blown glass with geometric lines and particularly original colours. The set comprises 7 pieces: a large carafe with a flattened silhouette and six flared glasses. Each piece features a fine glass with iridescent yellow and green reflections, contrasting with a remarkable translucent cobalt blue glass ball foot, extended by a wide circular base of the same colour. The carafe is distinguished by its geometric profile and spout highlighted with a cobalt blue glass thread, applied hot. The six glasses share the same construction and colour combinations, ensuring a beautiful coherence throughout the set. The various visible irregularities in the glass — small bubbles, slight roughness, and marks related to artisanal work — contribute to the character of these pieces and are compatible with blown and hand-crafted production. With its combination of geometric shapes, bold colours, and worked glass, this set fully embodies the aesthetic of postmodern design from the 1980s-1990s. In the absence of the macaron, we will simply relate the aesthetic to the productions of Murano glassware. A particularly decorative service, equally interesting when displayed in a showcase or on a piece of furniture as when used for serving. Composition: 1 carafe + 6 glasses, totalling 7 pieces. Technique: blown and hand-crafted glass. Era: 20th century, probably late 20th century. Style: Postmodern. Inspiration: Murano glassware. Colours: yellow, green, cobalt blue. Condition: Very good overall condition, with slight irregularities inherent to the artisanal work of glass.
