Vintage ceramic side table designed by Belgian artist Paul Vermeire for Perignem in the 1960s. The table combines a metal base with a ceramic top and is signed. Paul Vermeire lived and worked in Ostend and produced ceramics, paintings and drawings. His work reflects the experimental approach to materials typical of Belgian studio ceramics of the period. Compact proportions make it ideal as a side table or coffee table. Dimensions. Height 36 cm / 14.2 in. Width 75 cm / 29.5 in. Depth 60 cm / 23.6 in. Condition. Very good vintage condition.
