Office ah ernest! What an office! I remember very well the first time I saw it in a private home. It must certainly have been originally intended for a factory or company because its top was totally disproportionate. I admit that I hesitated to take it, then it remained for a full year in my workshop to serve as a sort of workbench. A year of forgetting him and not knowing how to work with him… and then one day, everything was unlocked and ernest was born…. What a pleasure to see him like this, so beautiful. It was sanded and the plastic film that covered the drawers was removed. I chose not to cover the exterior walls of the drawers, and therefore to leave them in raw wood, in order to remind it of its industrial side. I created the green I wanted for the fronts and I “lit” it with a golden wood effect shade on the top and the last 3 drawers. The desk has been completely protected with colorless varnish. Finally, all the handles were changed. Ernest will be delivered assembled.
