A 19th-century small walnut cabinet featuring a sunflower motif, attributed to George Davis, created during the 4th quarter of the 19th century. The cabinet comprises a base and superstructure. The base is double-winged, standing on tall legs connected at the bottom by a shelf with a drawer. The superstructure includes a wall with mirrors and a narrow shelf supported by columns. The door panels and the top of the superstructure are adorned with relief decorations of sunflowers. On the inner side of the doors, the manufacturer's signature reads: "George Davis - Cabinet Maker and Upholsterer - Plymouth." The cabinet has not been restored but features secondary lacquering and is in particularly good condition. This piece is attributed to the designer George Davis and was manufactured in the United Kingdom between 1890 and 1919.
