He is best known for his work designing enamels for companies manufacturing limoges porcelain. Floral and figurative motifs in richly enameled colors are his signature. His works are found in private collections as well as at the museum of fine arts in limoges, at the museum of decorative arts in paris which is part of the louvre; at the museum für angewandte kunst (cologne); at the musée de l’horlogerie et de l’emailrie in geneva, switzerland; at the vittoriale degli italiani in brescia, lombardy; and in the united states: at the kirkland museum of fine & decorative art in denver, at the corning museum of glass and at the cooper hewitt, at the smithsonian design museum in new york, at the virginia museum of fine arts, at the walters art museum in baltimore, and the smart museum of art in chicago, among others.
