Ancient Baroque cabinet in walnut with 4 drawers, Italy 18th century

Baroque commode with a drop-down front supported by wavy legs; on the undulating facade, it features three drawers plus one smaller drawer, topped with a drop-down door concealing a cabinet with small drawers. Veneered with burl and inlaid with maple; the interiors are made of poplar and fir. It has undergone restorations and later modifications: originally, it was a trumeau from which the upper part has been removed.
