Three-room old salon

Living room composed of three elements: 1 chaise longue, 1 large armchair + 1 small armchair. Period furniture, Directoire style: • Gondola-shaped backrest, reminiscent of the so-called "gondola armchairs" • Sculpted ornaments, notably the stylised shell, a symbol of travel and pilgrimage. • Mortise and tenon assembly. • Metal tacking that follows the contours of the seat fabric. Reupholstered (seat, fabric, tacking) in 2013. The fabric of the chaise longue shows stained and discoloured areas. The fabric of the armchairs is in good condition, except for a repair on the large armchair (see photo with the coin). The wood (stained beech or solid walnut) shows signs of wear.
