Antique cherry farmhouse table with spindle legs. We love its top, made of two large planks and a small, interlocking central plank. Its beautiful, quite pronounced patina gives it all its charm and authenticity. Its small flaws and characteristics make it a farmhouse table as we like them, which presents its former lives to us. The base is pegged in the old style, and we can see that the crosspieces have also been worked from the mass. Traces of pitting, old wormholes, and signs of wear are visible in places. The table has been completely revisited, treated, sanded, lightly stained, and then protected with a transparent matte varnish. We appreciate its color, the unique grain of the wood, its small imperfections, its perfect size... Note that one leg turns slightly inward, and extensions have also been added over time to give this table a standard height and comfortable legroom.
