Ole Wanscher (1903–1985) was a Danish furniture designer and architect known for his elegant, functional, and finely crafted furniture. His work was strongly influenced by 18th-century English and French furniture. Ole Wanscher studied under Kaare Klint at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He was later appointed professor at the same university. The chairs are made of mahogany. Reclaimed mohair. Made by AJ Iversen. A damaged area on one of the backs has been repaired.
