Hans Wegner Opala Table Lamp for Louis Poulsen Denmark 1970s

1st edition opala table lamp, designed by hans wegner in the 1970s for louis poulsen denmark. The lamp is marked with the original label in the shade. Originally the lamp was designed for hotel scandinavia in copenhagen. Later louis poulsen took it into production together with the floor lamp and hanging lamp. It has a dark grey/brown (taupe) metal base and stem, and an opal acrylic shade with taupe aluminum top. The lamp is in very good original condition, only minimal traces of wear.
