This sublime set of four Rausch Rattan chairs is a distinctive find from the 1970s. They showcase the excellence of German bent rattan manufacturing at the time. The sculptural, authentic rattan frame features the fan-shaped curves characteristic of this vintage design. Reupholstered in the Workshop: A Unique Piece. The original seats were completely transformed and reupholstered in our workshop (Beauvieu) with a vibrant floral velvet. The generous patterns (stylized roses and peonies on a black background) enhance the golden patina of the rattan. The combination of natural materials and expressive textiles creates a warm and sophisticated feel, perfect for harmonizing a living room or dining room. Condition and Marks of Age (Selency Transparency): The set is in very good overall condition following cleaning and reupholstery. Seats: Like new (recently reupholstered). Structure: The rattan is sturdy and features a natural golden patina. An authentic Rausch Rattan label is visible under one of the chairs. In accordance with our approach: Some natural signs of wear (light scratches or minor alterations) are visible on the rattan, a small testament to its 50-year history.
