This photograph was taken by Bernard Darot. It depicts a statue of a crowned head. Bernard Darot, born in Saint-Cloud (Hauts-de-Seine) on October 31, 1934, was a student of Louis Arretche. He was admitted to the second class on July 10, 1957, received an honorable mention for his submitted project and the Prix des Anciens (Alumni Prize) in October 1958, was promoted to the first class on December 13, 1960, won a Second Medal at the Bourgeois and Godeboeuf Competition on December 5, 1961, and graduated on June 16, 1965.
