Unframed etching, showing various reptiles, originally drawn by mrs holmes and engraved by j lowry, published by baldwin & cradock, 1834. The etchings in this collection are a highly detailed dark grey on cream paper. The left hand side edge is serrated and they are blank on the reverse. Most of the plates have areas of foxing/tanning, which is normal. Paper size: 8 X 10.5 inches or 21.5 X 27.5 cm, approximately. Your print will be protected in a polythene/cello bag, in a rigid mailer. ** any frames shown are for illustration purposes only and are not part of the sale. ** print care: protect from direct sunlight.
