Seguso lantern - Murano - Italy

We are selling a very pretty blown colored glass lantern by designer Fulvio Bianconi. This lantern, called "candy cane lantern," is fixed on an iron structure. It is electrified (bayonet socket). It is the result of Italian work from the 1950s. A very decorative object, beautifully modern. Fulvio Bianconi was born in 1915 in Padua. His pieces (art objects, vases, lamps) are characterized by a very marked chromaticism, with simple and often organically inspired shapes that are reminiscent of abstract painting.
