Fake birds made of real feathers have found refuge in a copper wire lampshade. For each model, the arrangement of the birds is executed according to a precise plan, ensuring visual harmony. From one room to another, the colours vary infinitely, making each piece a unique specimen. Singular objects of great poetry, the Aviaries have become essential in design over time. They are also a rare example of creation without lineage: before their appearance in 2006, nothing similar had come into being. Mathieu Challières' Aviaries are now distributed in over 30 countries.
