Set of three ear bowls Grespots Digoin, circa 1950

Set of three earthenware bowls with handles in glazed stoneware, Grespots Digoin, model no. 8. France, circa 1950–1970. Matte ochre-honey stoneware body, interior glazed in off-white, with two small flat handles for gripping. Unglazed base bearing the impressed mark "F8" Grespots Digoin France 8, the number indicating the model size. Made by the Digoin factory (Saône-et-Loire), founded in 1875, specialising in utilitarian and kitchen stoneware. Diameter: 12.5 cm. Height: 7 cm. Overall good condition, with wear consistent with age, no chips or cracks. Note a slight glazing defect from the manufacturing process.
