Midcentury brutalist cock fighting or conversation tripod side chair, Dutch 1950s

Wonderful "cock fighting" or conversation chairs often in the netherlands referred to as "smokers" chair. This lovely brutalist item can be used in the traditional way with the backrest used as is but is also suitable to be used the other way around ( so both legs on each side of the back rest, arms resting on the top of the backrest ). This example was probably made in the netherlands in the 1950s. The chair is in a great vintage condition with only some minor wear.
