Louis Philippe mirror restyled

Large louis philippe style mirror in blackened wood and gilded waxed rosewood surround, circa period. The louis philippe style is sober, the patterns and ornaments are few in number and the lines are slightly rounded, it prepares the coming of the napoleon III style. The mercury glass has a few pits in places and the wood has a few marks but the whole remains in very good condition because this mirror dates from the end of the 19th century. The back is shaped with original parquet flooring which was used to protect the mercury, an iron link allows it to be suspended if necessary. This old mirror patinated by time has retained all the charm of its experience, it will make a beautiful vintage decoration whether it is placed on a wall or on the floor inside your home.
