Rattan desk by Louis Sognot, 1950

Rattan desk designed by French designer Louis Sognot in the 1950s. Box hanging from the tray with its three drawers. Wooden tray, rattan shelf and side parts decorated with open rattan panels. The hue is bright and warm. Its curves are soft and harmonious. Beautifully crafted, practical and very aesthetic, the rattan desk is not lacking in elegance and character. It will be perfect in a retro and bohemian decoration. Beautiful vintage condition, some marks of time especially on the set and a small lack at the bottom of the box, but the rattan desk retains all its solidity, charm and authenticity.
