Millefiori Sconce

Italian wall sconce produced in the 1980s. A metal frame to which small, translucent Murano glass flowers are attached, layered in a cascading pattern. Each piece of glass is unique and distinct, blown and molded one by one. The overlapping flower-shaped discs create a continuous mosaic effect—or “glass skin”—that diffuses light in a very subtle way, an iconic style of Murano production in the 1980s.
