Large vintage Murano glass ashtray in olive green and amber.

Very beautiful large vintage glass ashtray/trinket dish from Murano, featuring a remarkable contrast of deep olive green and smoky amber. Made from solid and very thick glass, it has a generous shape with slightly organic contours. The layering of colours and the significant thickness of the glass create beautiful light effects, particularly visible on the amber rim. A lovely decorative piece in the spirit of Mid-Century Italian design from the 1960s-1970s, to be used as a trinket dish, ashtray, or simply as a decorative object. Large model, with a particularly interesting presence on a coffee table, console, or desk. Overall vintage condition is good.
