Scriban chest of drawers

Lovely louis XVI style scriban chest of drawers in marquetry inlaid with fruit wood. Overall dimensions: width 84cm, depth 36cm and height 87cm. Two drawers on the front in the shape of a crossbow with gilded bronze handles. Sloping flap with key lock, opening onto two interior niches and two drawers. Beautiful work probably from the 1940s. Interior dimensions of the drawers: width 78cm, depth 28cm, height 13cm. Dimensions of the work space with the flap open: width 58cm, depth 38cm. Height under the flap open: 66cm allowing you to work seated. The depth of 36cm makes it easy to place this piece of furniture in any room, including an entrance hall.
