Pair of Louis XVI style armchairs.

Pair of Louis XVI style armchairs with medallion and openwork backs" Elegant Louis XVI style armchair, in waxed beech, made around 1900. Very atypical openwork back, composed of three columns resting on a crosspiece forming a drape. The top is composed of a medallion upholstered in fabric and topped with a Louis XVI knot. The seat is firm, however the covering fabric is sunned and deserves to be changed. Some restorations have been carried out over the years but do not detract from the charm of these armchairs. Please note that the fabric is damaged and stained, but the upholstery is in very good condition. In my shop you will find the bench and a matching chair. Possibility of a group purchase.
