Pair of teak chairs with curved backrests and newly upholstered seats in washable ice-grey fabric. Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Boltinge Stolefabrik, Denmark, 1960s. Designed by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Boltinge Stolefabrik, these Danish chairs from the 1960s reflect the designer’s exploration of lightweight structures and organic forms. The teak construction is characterized by tapered legs, sculpted side supports and a broad curved backrest that follows the profile of the seat. The seats have been completely refurbished and newly upholstered in washable ice-grey fabric, a neutral tone that leaves the lines of the wooden structure clearly visible. Good condition. They may show signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs. AG455
