Pair of Art Deco armchairs, 1930s–1940s

A pair of large Art Deco armchairs from the 1930s–1940s, professionally restored in our workshop with respect for the original construction and character of the pieces. The armchairs retain their original spring system, which was carefully preserved, cleaned and rebuilt to ensure comfort and structural integrity. During the restoration process, the frames were thoroughly checked and stabilised where necessary. The original springs were retained and complemented with new internal layers to rebuild the upholstery structure without replacing the historical core. The armchairs were reupholstered in a high-quality geometric fabric inspired by Art Deco and mid-century aesthetics, featuring a balanced palette of olive green, ochre, terracotta and natural beige tones. Characteristic curved armrests finished in natural veneer define the sculptural form of the chairs and emphasise their period design. The result is a pair of generously sized, comfortable armchairs that combine authentic original elements with careful, respectful restoration, making them suitable for both contemporary and vintage interiors.
