The "Serpent" wall lamp by Raak Amsterdam, designed by Martine le Forestier in the 1960s, is an iconic, flexible snake-shaped luminaire. Thanks to its flexible design, the light can be directed for various applications. The lamp combines artistic elegance and functionality and remains a favorite among collectors today. Le Forestier won the Vienot Prize in 1969 for this design. Height: 120 cm. Width: 18 cm (diameter of the aluminum globe). Depth: 18 cm. The lamp has a large (ceramic) E27 socket. The aluminum globe has some dents. The lamp can be mounted on the wall with two screws. Origin: Netherlands, 1968. Materials: aluminum, plastic, brass, steel.
