Folding table made in denmark in the 1960s by bramin. The table is made of teak wood, the tops are veneered, while the edges, structure and legs are solid wood. The unfolding mechanism is in excellent condition and works smoothly. The table has two extensions, before unfolding it can accommodate 4-5 chairs, after unfolding 6-8. It is a complete set consisting of a table and two sideboards. The table is preserved in very good condition, it is fully operational and ready to be inserted. The countertops have been cleaned and refreshed with hard teak oil and wax resistant to water and dirt, by osmo. Originally known as na jørgensen, the danish furniture manufacturer bramin was founded in bramming, a region on the west coast of the jutland peninsula. In the early 1960s, bramin's advertising slogan was "deres garanti for kvalitet form og function" which meant "quality, form and function: guaranteed". During its heyday bramin collaborated with many respected danish designers such as johannes andersen, hans olsen, kurt østervig and frank reenskaug. However, bramin's most successful relationship was undoubtedly with h. W. Klein, a norwegian-born designer who moved to denmark in 1960 to work for the firm. Dimensions: height - 73 cm. Table top diameter - 115 cm. Width when unfolded - 215 cm X 115 cm.
