"sommerso" is a technique developed in murano in the 1930s that became very popular in the 1950s/1960s. Technique, which consists of superimposing layers of glass by successively passing the object through different melting pots of molten glass, allows subtle combinations of colors. The result is a glass with contrasting colors that is usually wrapped in a transparent layer. Colors: brown and transparent. Slight scratches because of its great age, but in a very beautiful condition.
